Terms & Conditions
The terms governing your participation in Board Enhance programmes.
Last updated: 14 May 2026 · Version 1.2
1. Who we are
Board Enhance is a trading name of Board Enhance Management Consultancy, a company licensed in the Emirate of Dubai under Dubai Unified Licence (DUL) number BX7718. References to "we", "us", and "our" in these terms are references to Board Enhance Management Consultancy.
These terms govern your registration for, and participation in, our programmes, including the Board Diploma Programme, Board Foundations, the Alumni Network, the Candidate Search service, and customised programmes delivered for individual organisations.
By submitting a registration, you confirm that you are authorised to do so (whether for yourself or, in the case of group registrations, on behalf of your organisation) and that you accept these terms in full.
2. Programmes & pricing
- Board Diploma Programme: 29,900 AED per participant, inclusive of UAE VAT (5%). Three-day in-person programme delivered in Dubai. Includes the in-programme materials, networking dinner on Day 1, board simulation on Day 3, and access to the alumni network.
- Board Foundations (when launched): 14,950 AED per participant, inclusive of UAE VAT (5%). Online programme.
- Candidate Search: free for alumni companies; pricing for external firms is provided on request.
- Customised programmes: pricing is provided on request and depends on programme scope, duration, format, faculty engaged, and number of participants.
Prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED) and apply to the cohort and edition specified at the time of registration. Travel, accommodation, and any expenses incurred outside the programme venue are not included. We reserve the right to adjust programme pricing from time to time; the price that applies to your registration is the price published at the time you submit it.
3. Registration & confirmation
3.1 Individual registration
Individual registrations are completed online and paid by card via our payment processor. Your seat is confirmed once payment is captured successfully. You will receive a payment receipt by email and a separate joining pack from Philip Bäck within one business day.
3.2 Group registration
Group registrations are submitted online by a billing contact authorised to act for the organisation. We will issue a single invoice for the full amount, payable by bank transfer in AED. Seats are provisionally held on submission and become confirmed once payment clears in our account. We reserve the right to release provisional seats if payment is not received within 7 days of the invoice date or before the programme start date, whichever is sooner.
3.3 Customised programmes
Customised programmes are governed by a separate engagement letter agreed in writing between Board Enhance Management Consultancy and the client organisation, setting out scope, dates, deliverables, fees, and payment terms. To the extent that the engagement letter conflicts with these terms, the engagement letter prevails. Where no separate engagement letter is in place, these terms and conditions apply.
4. Payment
Card payments are processed by MamoPay, operated by Mamo Limited, a company registered in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority ("DFSA") under reference number F005922. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. By paying online you agree to the payment processor's terms.
For invoiced bookings, payment is due in full before the programme start date. Bank charges, currency conversion fees, and any withholding taxes are the payer's responsibility: the net amount received by Board Enhance must equal the invoiced amount.
5. Cancellation, transfer & refunds
5.1 Binding registrations
All registrations are binding and non-refundable. Once you have submitted your registration and payment has been captured (or, for group bookings, an invoice has been issued), you are committed to the programme fee in full, regardless of subsequent attendance. If circumstances prevent you from attending, please see clause 5.2 on transfers.
If you need to notify us of a change in circumstances, please write to us at board@boardenhance.ae.
5.2 Transfers
You may transfer your seat to another qualified participant from your organisation, subject to our review and acceptance of the replacement, at no charge if requested at least 2 days before the programme start date. After that point, transfers are at our discretion and an administration fee may apply.
5.3 Cancellation by us
For the purposes of this clause, a "move" means a change to the originally scheduled programme start date, and a "cancellation" means the cohort is not delivered and no alternative date is offered. Changes to venue, format, or faculty are not a move or cancellation and are addressed separately below.
We reserve the right to adjust programme dates, venue, format, and faculty where reasonably required, including substituting faculty members on any programme. Faculty listed on our marketing materials are indicative; we routinely refine the faculty line-up based on participant feedback, evolving programme content, faculty availability, and our continuous improvement of the programme. Specific named faculty are not guaranteed unless explicitly confirmed in writing in your registration confirmation or, for customised programmes, in an engagement letter. Changes to venue, format, or faculty are not a cancellation and do not give rise to a right of credit or refund.
Where we move the programme dates and the new dates are not suitable for you, you may elect to receive a programme credit equal to the fees you have paid, valid for 24 months from the date the credit is issued and usable against any Board Enhance programme. If the new dates fall more than 45 days from the originally scheduled start date, you may instead elect a full refund of the fees you have paid.
Where we cancel a cohort outright without offering an alternative date (for example, due to insufficient enrolment), you will be offered a transfer to a future cohort or a full refund of the fees you have paid for the cancelled programme. Our liability in such cases is limited to the fees you have paid.
6. Admission & participant obligations
The Board Diploma is designed for senior executives and aspiring board members. We reserve the right to decline a registration where the candidate is, in our reasonable judgement, not a fit for the cohort, in which case any payment received will be refunded in full.
Participants are expected to attend all sessions of the programme they have registered for, engage constructively with faculty and peers, and respect the confidentiality of discussions and case material. We may remove a participant from the programme without refund in cases of serious misconduct.
7. Confidentiality & Chatham House Rule
Discussions during the programme, including peer contributions, case studies, and board simulations, operate under the Chatham House Rule. Participants are free to use the information shared but must not identify the speaker or any other participant in connection with specific statements made. This obligation continues after the programme ends.
8. Intellectual property
All programme materials, including slides, frameworks, case studies, recordings, written content, and the alumni portal content, are the intellectual property of Board Enhance or its licensors. They are provided to you for personal learning and reference only. You may not reproduce, redistribute, publish, or use them for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
Where you contribute content to the alumni network or programme discussions, including forum posts, case responses, written reflections, and similar materials, you grant Board Enhance a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content for community and programme purposes.
9. Alumni Network
Graduates of the Board Diploma receive access to the alumni network and in-person alumni gatherings, on a complimentary basis. Foundations alumni receive complimentary online community access. Continued access is contingent on adherence to community guidelines and respectful conduct.
We reserve the right to moderate, curate, and amend the alumni network offering, including its content, events, eligibility criteria, format, and frequency, at our discretion. We also reserve the right to revoke individual access in cases of breach of community guidelines or conduct that we reasonably consider inappropriate. Save in cases of serious misconduct, we will give written notice and a reasonable opportunity to respond before revoking access.
10. Photography & recording
We may take photographs or record short video segments during the programme for marketing purposes. Where this is the case you may opt out prior to event start by informing us.
11. Privacy
Your personal data is processed in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable UAE data protection law (PDPL). Please read the privacy policy for details on what we collect, why, and your rights.
12. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Board Enhance's total liability arising out of or in connection with these terms or your participation in any programme is limited to the fees you have paid for that programme. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
13. Published content and articles
Articles, guides, FAQs, and other editorial content published on this website are general guidance based on professional experience and public sources at the time of writing. They are not legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice and should not be relied on as a substitute for advice from a qualified advisor in the relevant jurisdiction. Board Enhance and its authors accept no liability for actions taken, or not taken, on the basis of any published content. Regulations, case law, and best practices change over time, and content may not be updated to reflect later developments.
14. Force majeure
We are not in breach of these terms if delivery of a programme is prevented or delayed by events beyond our reasonable control, including, without limitation, government action, public health restrictions, venue closure, or travel disruption. In such cases we will work with you in good faith to move the programme online or to reschedule it to an alternative date. Where the rescheduled dates are not suitable for you, the 24-month programme credit set out in clause 5.3 applies; where the rescheduled dates fall more than 45 days from the originally scheduled start date and are not suitable for you, you may instead elect a full refund.
15. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dubai courts.
16. Severability
If any provision of these terms is held by a court or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable in whole or in part, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, lawful and enforceable while preserving its commercial intent as closely as possible. If such modification is not possible, the provision will be deemed deleted. Any modification to, or deletion of, a provision under this clause will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remainder of these terms.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your registration is the version published on this page on the date you submitted your registration. Material changes will be notified to participants by email.
